I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels in Nottingham. From big chains such as Travelodge to smaller boutique hotels and B&Bs, I’ve seen it all. And while there are many great places to stay in the city, one place that is always overlooked is Travelodge Nottingham. It’s one of my favourite places to stay since it’s so affordable and convenient for anyone visiting Nottingham who needs somewhere clean and comfortable to sleep at night. I love this hotel so much that I’d like to share my experiences with you!
The hotel is located in the City Centre, close to Nottingham’s main attractions and public transport. You can walk or use public transport to get to many of Nottingham’s attractions, such as the historic city museum and castle, as well as plenty of shops and restaurants.
The hotel is also close to the train station and has a free shuttle service that will take you there and back. This makes it convenient for visitors who want to use public transport or travel further away from Nottingham.
If you’re staying at Travelodge Nottingham, you won’t have to worry about getting around the city. We’re less than 15 minutes from the train station and bus stop which makes it easy for you to get where you need to go. If travelling by car is more your speed, we are also less than 15 minutes away from the motorway, giving you easy access to any part of England or Scotland that takes your fancy.
You can even take a tram ride into town! The tram stops just outside our front door making it easier than ever before for travellers who want something other than public transportation but don’t want all the hassle associated with renting a car either.
The rooms are much bigger than you would think. There are two double beds and a sofa bed, so it can comfortably fit 4 people. The TV has over 200 channels, including all the major sports channels like Sky Sports and BT Sport. There is also a fridge, microwave, kettle, and hairdryer in each room.
The rooms are very clean and spacious. The beds are comfortable, while the bathroom is modern and has a nice shower. There is also plenty of storage space for your clothes.
You can book a family room that sleeps up to four people. This is a great option for families and groups of friends, but it’s also ideal for couples or solo travellers who need a little more space. The family room has two separate bedrooms, each with its bathroom and toilet.
Each bedroom can accommodate two people comfortably. The family rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. They include a double bed, a large sofa bed, and a television with Sky channels. The rooms have tea/coffee-making facilities and bathrobes.
There are two car parks, one for cars and one for lorries. Both car parks are secure with CCTV, 24-hour security, and a barrier that can be opened by card (you don’t need to use cash). In addition, there is an additional lorry park which has parking spaces for up to six vehicles. The car parks are well-lit and there are CCTV cameras on the site. The lorry park also has secure fencing around it.
They will make sure that you get the right room for your stay in Nottingham. They also offer a very warm welcome and will go the extra mile to ensure that your experience is as comfortable as possible. If there are any problems during your stay, they are happy to help out with these too.
The rooms are very clean and comfortable. They have a lot of facilities, including WiFi and en-suite bathrooms. Each room has a TV with Sky TV channels, tea/coffee-making facilities, and bathrobes. The rooms are well-maintained and clean.
There is a small kitchenette in every room which includes a fridge, microwave, and kettle. You can also use this to store food if you have brought some with you. In addition, there is an ironing board and iron provided for your convenience.
If you’re anything like us, you love your dogs. You probably don’t appreciate being told what to do by anyone, let alone a hotel staff member. Well fear not, Travelodge Nottingham is a dog-friendly hotel brand that allows you to take your precious pooch with you to all of their locations.
And if Nottingham is the city for you (we certainly think it is), then Travelodge Nottingham is an absolute treat! We know how difficult and expensive it can be to find somewhere to stay when travelling with your pet so we were thrilled at how accommodating they were during our stay. They even have a boardwalk where dogs can go potty outside in the garden – talk about convenience!
We all know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Luckily, you can kickstart your day by starting with a free breakfast at Travelodge Nottingham! Breakfast is served every morning until 11 am in our restaurant and on weekends and bank holidays too.
They also serve a Christmas Day breakfast, so you’re sure to get your fill on December 25th! Our New Year’s Eve buffet has been known to be one for the books too- so if you’re planning on staying with us then we recommend getting there early to avoid disappointment!
I had such a good experience at this hotel and was pleasantly surprised by what they had to offer. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was good. The price is also much cheaper than other hotels in the City Centre.
If you’re looking for a hotel in Nottingham that is close to the City Centre, I would recommend Travelodge Nottingham. The rooms are much bigger than they look on the website and they have both double and family rooms available. You can also book your room with parking so that you don’t need to worry about finding somewhere nearby when arriving at night time. I think this hotel is perfect for anyone who wants an affordable staycation in Nottingham!
