These Are Things You Need To Look For In Your Cabin

A Comfortable Bed

A comfortable bed is essential. You want a good mattress and pillow. The bed should be big enough for two people, and it should be supportive and comfortable.

The Right Location

A cabin that’s close to a lake, river, or other body of water will make your time outdoors more enjoyable. You can fish, swim and kayak from the shores of these bodies of water.

Similarly, if there are hiking trails surrounding your cabin, you’ll be able to enjoy getting out into nature and exploring the land around you. Many people find this type of activity relaxing and rewarding; it’s also great exercise!

Plenty of Wildlife

If you’re the kind of person who needs to get away from it all, then you’ve come to the right place. There are plenty of opportunities for wildlife viewing in our cabins. Wildlife is a great way to get away from it all. In case we haven’t made this clear yet, wildlife can be a great source of entertainment and inspiration for art and writing!

A Fireplace

The fireplace is the first thing that comes to mind when you think about a cabin, and for good reason. They’re the perfect ways to keep warm on a cold winter’s day, and they make your cabin feel like home. They’re also great if you want to cook food in them (the hot coals can be used as an oven).

If you are looking for some firewood, there are plenty of local stores that sell it. If you don’t want to buy it from a store, then there’s always another option: making your firewood! It’s not hard at all—just cut down trees into pieces and burn them in your fireplace.

Exposed Beams

Exposed beams are probably one of the most important things to look for in your cabin. This is because they add character and can be used in a variety of ways. For example, if you have an exposed beam that runs along an entire wall of your cabin, you might find it useful to hang a hammock from it so that you can relax after a long day on the trail. Exposed beams also provide excellent opportunities for hanging up lanterns or other light fixtures. As well as adding extra storage space by hanging baskets from them.

A Jacuzzi Tub

It’s easy to get caught up in the idea of an outdoor hot tub, but a jacuzzi tub is also a great way to relax and unwind at home. A jacuzzi tub can be used for bathing or soaking, making it ideal for two people looking to relax together. It’s also great for romantic getaways with your significant other. You can share the same water temperature and enjoy each other’s company while taking advantage of its therapeutic qualities!

Plenty of Windows and Natural Light

Having access to a window or two is a must. It helps you feel like you’re actually in the woods, rather than just trying on the idea of being there. The view should give you the feeling of being close to nature, not just looking out at it from within your cabin.

If possible, try to find a place with windows that open so you can enjoy fresh air when it’s warm outside (and sometimes even when it isn’t). If this isn’t possible due to space constraints or weather patterns where your cabin is located, make sure that any screens used are sturdy enough to keep bugs out while still allowing plenty of airflow on warmer days.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I bring my dog?

All of our cabins are pet friendly, but there is a small fee for dogs. Also, you will need to bring food and water for your dog as well as clean up after him/her.

Is there internet access?

The cabin does not have Internet access. However, there is WiFi in the reception area. If you’re planning on staying off-grid for a few days and need to be connected to the world, this may not be your best option.

What are the check-in and out times?

Check-in time is between 4 pm and 8 pm. You can arrive before that, but it’s not recommended because the cabin will be locked and you may have to wait for someone to let you in.

Check-out time is between 10 am and 11 am. You may stay longer, but after 11 am the cleaning staff will start to arrive and there will be a charge of £30 per hour for extra time (or part thereof).

What do I need to bring?

You’ll need to bring a few essentials with you. These include:
Toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, soap).

1. Sleeping bag and pillow. Bring your own if possible, but we can supply them if needed.
2. Laundry detergent (we recommend powder). They also have washing machines on-site in the communal launderette area. Just ask us where it is when you arrive at your cabin and we’ll show you!
3. Towels (for bathing and drying after bathing). They don’t supply these either – they’re not that fancy! But if you pack them then there’s no reason why they can’t be used during your stay to launder between visits.
