Home » My Stay At Mercure Hotel Nottingham, A Review

We were so excited to stay at Mercure Hotel Nottingham on our recent trip to the city. We’d heard great things about it from friends who had visited before, and we were not disappointed! This review will help you decide whether this hotel is right for you.

Why did we choose Mercure Hotel Nottingham?

You should always look at the location of your accommodation when travelling. If you want to see as much as possible, then you shouldn’t pick somewhere that’s too far away from everything.

If you’re on a budget, it’s important to choose somewhere with reasonable prices. You don’t need an expensive hotel if all you want is a place to sleep and shower each day.

We also checked out reviews on TripAdvisor and other websites before choosing Mercure Hotel Nottingham. The average user rating was 4 stars out of 5. This made them seem like one of the best hotels in this price range!

Some users commented that they liked how close it was to shops and restaurants. Others said that breakfast was included in their stay so they didn’t have any complaints there either! I’m sure everyone will find something positive about staying here.”

Booking at Mercure Hotel Nottingham

You can book through the hotel’s website, by phone, or via your travel agent. If you’re using social media to find information about the Mercure Hotel Nottingham, check out their Facebook page and Twitter account. You can also email them with questions or concerns regarding your stay. Finally, while in-person booking isn’t as popular these days as it used to be (since most people prefer online booking), there are still some limited situations where an in-person visit is necessary:

  • You live far away from the City Centre and don’t have access to a computer or cell phone;
  • Your internet connection has been down for several days;
  • You have only recently acquired a smartphone and haven’t yet downloaded any apps that enable online booking capabilities; or
  • There’s just something uniquely personal about having a face-to-face conversation with someone at their place of business when making arrangements for yourself and your family members’ accommodations during any type of trip abroad!

Checking in at Mercure Hotel Nottingham

As you arrive, a friendly member of staff will greet you and ask for your name. He or she will then direct you to the main reception desk. You’ll need to hand over your credit card and photo ID before being given a room key. The check-in process is quick, easy, and straightforward.

Our room at Mercure Hotel Nottingham

While the rooms are not spacious, they are comfortable and functional. The bed was large enough for two people to sleep comfortably on and was covered with a soft duvet which added to the comfort of our night’s rest.

While there were no ‘extra’ pillows available, we found that one was sufficient for us both. The room also included an ironing board, an iron, and plenty of hangers for clothes storage.

The bathroom was well appointed with a bathtub and shower head located on opposite sides of the room from each other. This allowed plenty of space without getting in each other’s way while bathing or showering together!

There were plenty of little toiletries provided by Mercure Hotel Nottingham including soap bars (which I always appreciate), hand cream, toothpaste/toothbrushes, etc… However, if you have any specific needs regarding these things then it is best to bring your own as I am sure there would be something available at reception if needed!

The buffet breakfast

The buffet breakfast is a good option for those who can’t decide. With an array of cereals, fruits, pastries, food, and more, you can choose whatever you want from this selection.

The buffet breakfast is well stocked with plenty of choices so there will never be a shortage of options when it comes to the food you eat with your family or partner at the hotel.

With 24-hour room service available, it makes sense that they provide such an extensive range of choices when it comes to breakfast time too!
