With so many gorgeous holiday cottages in Nottinghamshire, it can be hard to decide which one is right for you. You can enjoy the luxury of your private hot tub at this charming, self-catering cottage in the heart of Sherwood Forest. The barn was built in the 17th century and has been beautifully renovated to provide a cosy and romantic getaway for couples who love nature.
The property offers plenty of space for relaxing together with your partner, with its large lounges, dining area, and kitchen. A cosy bedroom is also on offer. Outside are many areas in which to relax peacefully, including a decked terrace by the stream below where you can sit with a glass of wine; or have fun playing croquet on the lawn beyond!

Beauvale Priory is a wonderful place to visit and Gatehouse Lodge is a great place to stay. The location of Gatehouse Lodge is ideal, with the beautiful grounds of Beauvale Priory at your doorstep. You can sit in the sun by the pond, unwind in the hot tub or take a walk around the grounds. There are facilities for children including a play area and toys which will keep them amused for hours on end!
The Gatehouse Lodge also has an excellent view from its private balcony; looking over acres of grassland with views beyond into Nottinghamshire countryside – what more could you want?

This two-bedroom cottage is located in the countryside of Nottinghamshire, just a short drive from Newark Castle. It features 2 bedrooms with 1 double bed and 1 twin bed, as well as a bathroom with a shower. Little Wayside is a great place to stay in Nottinghamshire, with its excellent facilities and good location. This cottage is great for families, as there’s plenty to do on-site and it’s close to many attractions. It’s also a good value for money, so you really won’t find anything better in the area.

The Dovecote is one of the most luxurious cottages you’ll find in Nottinghamshire, and it’s perfect for both families and couples. Located on Appleton House Farm, a traditional working farm near Loughborough, this beautifully restored Victorian house offers all the comfort of home along with a private patio, hot tub, and private parking for two cars.
Set in stunning grounds with 3 acres of gardens at your disposal, The Dovecote has three bedrooms (one king-size double and two twin rooms), as well as other amenities such as heated towel rails and underfloor heating throughout. There’s also a wood-burning stove to keep you warm during winter months—and if you’re feeling adventurous? You can even cook on it!

The Secret Escape is a quaint cottage in a quiet village close to the city. This is a great place for couples looking for a romantic getaway, but also for families with older children who want to escape the city without getting too far out of town.
The Secret Escape is located in Newstead, just outside Nottingham (think 20 minutes by car). The cottage sits on its property, so you can enjoy some peace while still having access to all of Newstead’s amenities—including restaurants, shops, and pubs!
As soon as you walk through the door of this cozy cottage, it will feel like home. There are two bedrooms downstairs with queen-sized beds and one upstairs with two single beds. All three bedrooms have en suite bathrooms with hot showers or baths available—perfect after trudging through Nottinghamshire’s beautiful countryside!

Verne Cottage is a large, detached holiday cottage in the village of Shirland, just 20 minutes from Nottingham. The property has four bedrooms and sleeps eight people comfortably with two en-suite bathrooms, one family bathroom, and an additional toilet.
The spacious kitchen has been recently renovated and equipped with a range of appliances including a dishwasher, electric oven/ hob, and microwave. There’s also a breakfast bar for extra space when preparing meals. The lounge has plenty of natural light flooding in through windows overlooking the village green and the countryside beyond.
Outside is a private courtyard garden with a seating area for relaxing alongside your pet or children. Verne Cottage is surrounded by beautiful countryside where you can find local shops such as butchers/bakers/delis & convenience stores on offer plus traditional pubs serving food daily including evening meals.

Browns Restaurant Derby has a great atmosphere, with a focus on local produce and excellent service. Located in the heart of Derby, Browns is just one of many restaurants within the beautiful Friar Gate area.
It offers classic British dishes with an international flair; everything from soups and salads to fish dishes is on offer here. The restaurant also has an extensive wine list featuring over 2,000 selections!

La Rustica Restaurant & Wine Bar is an Italian restaurant located in Nottinghamshire. The food is delicious and the wine is even better! It’s also a great place to catch up with friends, so make sure you bring your favourite people along when you go. The staff is always friendly, so don’t hesitate to ask them for recommendations or help with anything else that might be on your mind.

If you’re looking for a great Italian place to eat, Papa Ciccio’s Restaurant is it. Located in Nottingham, this restaurant has a varied menu of delicious Italian food and great service. The menu includes pasta dishes, pizza, and other favourites. They also serve beer and wine if you want to enjoy something before or after your meal. For those who are gluten-free or vegetarian, there are plenty of options available; many of the items on the menu can be made without meat or wheat flour!

The Wonky Table is a great place for groups, families, couples, and special occasions. It’s also perfect for vegetarians and vegans (and those with other dietary requirements). The menu changes daily so you can visit more than once and try something different every time.

The Hooters Restaurant of Nottingham is a great place to go for lunch or dinner with your family and friends. They have an extensive menu that includes wings, burgers, and salads along with many other delicious items. The service here is always fast and friendly, making it one of my favourite places to eat in the area!
